Wedding Guitarist

"There is nothing more romantic than beautiful melodies played on the Spanish Classical Guitar"

The Spanish Guitar or Classical Guitar is one of the most romantic and versatile of all instruments.  In the hands of Luis Alfredo Garcia, it will provide the perfect ambiance for your wedding Ceremony, Cocktail hour, and/or dinner reception.

Luis Alfredo as a wedding guitarist offers a large and versatile repertoire of classical, flamenco, Latin, and popular music styles to suit r any part of your special day.

Why choose a wedding guitarist? why choose me?

- "The guitar is one of the most romantic and versatile of all instruments. It will provide the perfect ambiance for your special day"

- A good wedding musician will judge the ambiance and play accordingly to keep the energy and feel appropriate to the occasion. My wide and varied experience enables me to do this naturally.

- Solo Spanish guitarists do not need much room especially in some function rooms where space is at a premium

- Spanish classical guitar can be play just acoustic if amplification is not allowed.

Planning the Music for Your Wedding Ceremony

 The Prelude

The purpose of the prelude music is to welcome guests as they are being seated before the ceremony. It also should give a cheerful yet subdued atmosphere, setting the stage for the solemnity of the event. The prelude generally begins 15 to 25 minutes before the ceremony start time, and it often involves quite a few songs. Luis Alfredo’s music selection includes romantic classical music, instrumental love ballads and Spanish/Latin boleros and waltz.

The Processional

The wedding party’s processional marks the official beginning of the ceremony. During the processional, first the bridal party walks down the aisle, and is then followed by the bride. The general protocol for the processional allows first for the seating of parents. Then bridesmaids walk down the aisle accompanied by groomsmen. Next, the maid of honor follows, then the flower girl and ring bearer (if used), and then the bride enters and makes her way down the aisle.

The Interlude (Optional)

The interlude can actually be many different moments in the ceremony, my very loose definition being any time there are no words being spoken for a minute or more. For most ceremonies, the interlude is the unity candle, memorial candle, or rose presentation. These are moments of quiet reflection, and the music you choose should encourage this mood. Any of the songs that Luis Alfredo plays during the prelude can be good choices for the interlude.

The Recessional

The recessional is the exact opposite of the processional. The bride and groom make their way down the aisle together, followed by the rest of the wedding party and their parents. The recessional marks the finish of the wedding ceremony. Congratulations! Now you’re officially married.

"Talent and Professionalism!"

"Wow, what a talented musician! Luis Alfredo Garcia's music was the perfect choice for our small outdoor wedding. The acoustic guitar and classic pieces added a touch of magic to the ambiance of the evening. He was professional, flexible, and a lot of fun. He even learned two new songs specifically for our event. We can't say enough great things about him!"

 Sandra and Dennis

I just wanted to tell you again how much we enjoyed meeting you and listening to you play last night at the reception. I have tapes of Segovia, Carlos Montoya and Julian Bream. I also have 6 cd’s of Hanan Harchol who was my favorite til last night. We also appreciated your willingness to stay a little late and entertain us with your repertoire and talent. You said you had made 100 cd’s once before, if you ever decide to make another run, put me on your list.
